The "Cafe Au Lait" dahlias in the dahlia patch are finally blooming. Everything seems a little behind in blooming this year. Anyone else having that happen?

I caught a glimpse of the Millenium Garlic in bloom at dusk and just had to share. These and chives are about the only ornamental alliums I can get to grow. The bigger varieties don't seem to care for this Georgia heat.

This ball dahlia is just perfection! It's shaping up to be my favorite this year. I wish I could capture it's deep purple hue. It looks like such a bright pink in photos and video. A 360° view of this dahlia "Jowey Nina" is now live in my stories.

I guess we can thank all of this rain for our 7 foot tall butterfly bushes. This variety was supposed to max out around 4 foot, but I'm not going to complain.
