So it finally happened, our oldest baby boy has passed the half way point in Elementary school. He’s one of the youngest in his class, since his birthday is in March, but he is among the biggest. Size isn’t the only thing that makes him stand out though. Gus has Sensory Processing Disorder. It has caused him many problems throughout his short life, but I am so proud of the progress he has made to get to were he is today.
I’m still in disbelief that my little Rhett is a half year old! This Momma is so sad.

As you can imagine, being a southerner living in Georgia we don’t experience snow very often. In fact, I can count on my fingers the number of times I have encountered it in my life. That being said, we have been experiencing some very unusual weather the past few weeks. Atlanta shut down, as did our city. It even earned it’s own hashtag #snowpocalypse2014. It was time for my 25 week chalkboard update, so the logical thing to do was to take it outside in baby’s first snow!

22 Weeks Pregnant It’s time for this weeks pregnancy chalkboard update. This week I’m 22 weeks pregnant, and I FINALLY started on Broughton’s nursery.
Time to update my pregnancy chalkboard for 21 weeks. Being past the halfway mark in pregnancy is such a hopeful time, so is being at the precipice of a new year. I’m so sure that 2014 will be an amazing year. I can’t wait to meet my new little boy, Broughton Fitz Shaffer.
